Derzeit sind Ecstasy-Falsifikate mit dem Wirkstoff Meta-Chlorphenylpiperazin (m-CPP) im Umlauf. Es handelt sich dabei um weiße Pillen mit dem Logo »Rolex« mit Bruchrille aus unterschiedlichen Chargen mit unterschiedlichen Maßen und Gewichten. Zudem sind beige Pillen mit gleichem Logo und farbigen Sprenkeln mit m-CPP, Coffein und Amphetamin im Umlauf sowie rosa gespenkelte Pillen mit den gleichen Inhaltsstoffen ohne Logo (No Name) und Bruchrille.http://www.eve-rave.net/abfahrer/drugchecking.sp?text=360&page=0
Nach dem Konsum von Pillen mit dem Wirkstoff m-CPP kommt es oft zu heftigen und unangenehmen Nebenwirkungen, wobei meistens nur sehr wenig eines erwünschten psychotrop wirkenden Effekts zu spüren ist.
Ecstasy-Falsifikate mit dem Wirkstoff 2C-B (Bromdimethoxyphenethylamin = BDMPEA) tauchen derzeit im gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum auf. Es handelt sich dabei um Pillen mit dem Logo »Rolex« mit Bruchrille in den Farben Gelb, Orange, Ziegelrot, Hellgrün und Hellgrün mit Sprenkeln. Der Grundeffekt von 2C-B ist eine Steigerung der Sinneswahrnehmungen, es verstärkt die Gefühlsempfindungen und wirkt in höheren Dosierungen halluzinatorisch. Zudem wird 2C-B als Aphrodisiakum bei Frigidität und Impotenz und zur Steigerung der Libido eingesetzt.
