Ich lebe in einer großen Stadt - Berlin eben. In dieser Stadt, wie auch in eigentlich allen Städten gibt es viele oder zumindest einige Leute, die man gemeinhin als Labertaschen bezeichnet. Leute, die jedem und allen ihre Geschichte erzählen wollen und denen nie jemand zuhört. Sie werden fast immer als Ärgernis gesehen, als verrückte Typen, die einen ansprechen und die man schnellstmöglich los werden will.Warum eigentlich?
Man könnte ja mal dafür sorgen, dass wirklich viele Menschen die Möglichkeit haben, deren Geschichte zu hören.

Ja, die Wellen schlagen hoch und wie zu erwarten gibt es Sand ins Getriebe von denen, die als Nutznießer eines außerhalb Apotheken bestehenden Handelsverbotes von Hilkräutern angesehen werden können. Kaum war klar, dass die Petition an den Bundestag einigermaßen regen Zuspruch finden würde (es haben 121.819 Personen bei minimal für den Erfolg nötigen 50.000 unterzeichnet), tauchten die Gegenpositionen auf. Tenor: Liebe Kinder, das ist doch Blödsinn sowas zu fordern, das Gesetz ist doch schon längst in nationales Recht umgesetzt und außerdem wird sich doch eh nix ändern ... bitte schlaft doch einfach weiter und kümmert Euch nicht weiter drum.Entsprechendes findet sich zum Nachlesen mal hier und hier. Da kann man auch eine Petition auf Europäischer Ebene finden, die es tatsächlich lohnt zu unterschreiben. Um überhaupt bis zu den Entscheidungsträgern zu kommen, ist es nötig, dass sich 1.000.000 Personen mit Wohnsitz in der EU an dieser Petition beteiligen.

Scheinbar haben sie es dann also doch geschafft: Ausreichend gut finanzierte Lobbyarbeit (vulgo "schmieren") reichte offensichtlich aus um ein EU-Gesetz auf den Weg zu bringen, das in letzter Konsequenz jedes wirksame Kräutlein zum Arzneimittel stempelt und gleichzeitig ein prohibitiv komplexes Zulassungsverfahren für dessen Zulassung fordert. Kann das Zulassungsverfahren nicht erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden (z.B. weil die wenigen kleinen Importeure nicht die finanziellen Mittel für pharmakolgische, (mikro)biologische oder gar klinische Tests aufbringen können), darf man das Kräutlein eben nicht mehr verkaufen.Da dieses Vorgehen einem Verbot nahezu aller, in den letzten 15 Jahren aus anderen Kulturen übernommener Arzneipflanzen gleichkommt, dürfte die zunehmend heilsame Selbstmedikation mit Naturprodukten auf das Niveau der frühen 80er Jahre zurückfallen.
Um dieses Szenario zumindest für Deutschland zu verhindern kann man vieles machen, der erste Schritt sollte jedoch darin bestehen, die Petition an den Deutschen Bundestag (https://epetitionen.bundestag.de/index.php?action=petition;sa=details;petition=14032) mit zu unterzeichnen.

Das muss dann doch mal gesagt werden: Manchmal ist Spam eine wirklich unterhaltsame Sache im Posteingang.Vor Jahren kamen Mails von Schneidern, die mir Maßanzüge verkaufen wollten. Das sollte so laufen: Ich nehme Maß, schicke diese Maße nach Thailand/China/sonstwo und bekomme den dazu passenden, handgefertigten Maßanzug nach dem von mir auf der entsprechenden Website ausgewählten Design.

Falls es der ein oder andere noch nicht wirklich rezipiert hat: Unsere werte Regierung ist grad dabei, unter dem Vorwand des Kinderschutzes ein Zensursystem auf Internetbasis zu erstellen. Da es bei solchen Systemen auch grundsätzlich um die Unterdrückung unliebsamen Informationsgutes geht (und eben noch nicht mal in zweiter Linie um Kinderschutz), fühle ich mich als Herausgeber einer entsprechenden Zeitschrift also befleißigt, mal auf eine entsprechende Petition an den Petitionsausschuss des Bundestages hin zu weisen:Internet - Keine Indizierung und Sperrung von Internetseiten vom 22.04.2009
Eine nette Seite, die mal genauer erklärt, warum es sich um wirklich stinkenden Bockmist handelt, was die Frau von der Leyen da hochgewürgt hat, sagt eine nette kleine Website namens Zeichne mit.

INEIDFO beschäftigt sich - wie der Name "Institut für empirische und interdisziplinäre Drogenforschung" schon sagt - mit empirischer Drogenforschung. Hauptaufgabe ist also das Sammeln von Umfrageergebnissen, was mit der im folgenden angekündigten Onlineumfrage erstmalig auch übers Netz geschehen soll.Warum allerdings von anonymer Teilnahme geredet wird, und noch nicht einmal die Möglickeit der Verschlüsselung des Datenverkehrs zwischen Server und Besucher-PC per SSL über eine https-Website angeboten wird, ist mit doch recht nachhaltig schleierhaft.

Ab sofort gibt es eine interaktive Online-Befragung zum Thema Drogen, die Webseite http://www.drogenforschung-interaktiv.de/ ist jetzt freigeschaltet (s. auch unser Blog vom August). Hier kann man anonym Angaben zum eigenen Konsumverhalten, der Risikoeinschätzung, und der eigenen Meinung zu einer zukünftigen (handels)rechtlichen Einstufung der am meisten gebrauchten Genussmittel und Drogen (von Schokolade über Alkohol bis Heroin etc.) machen, zum Ausfüllen des online-Fragebogens benötigt man ca. 3 bis 5 Minuten Zeit.

Derzeit sind Ecstasy-Falsifikate mit dem Wirkstoff Meta-Chlorphenylpiperazin (m-CPP) im Umlauf. Es handelt sich dabei um weiße Pillen mit dem Logo »Rolex« mit Bruchrille aus unterschiedlichen Chargen mit unterschiedlichen Maßen und Gewichten. Derzeit sind Ecstasy-Falsifikate mit dem Wirkstoff TFMPP (Trifluormethylphenylpiperazin) im Umlauf. Es handelt sich dabei um violette beidseitig facettierte Pillen mit dem Logo »xXx« mit Bruchrille. Mit einem Durchmesser von mehr als einem Zentimeter ist die Pille größer als übliche Ecstasy-Pillen. TFMPP ist ein Pseudohalluzinogen mit entaktogenen und entheogenen Wirkungsaspekten. Wie es aussieht, kommen doch in letzter Zeit von den rastlosen Zeitzeugen des Eve&Rave Netzwerkes vermehrt Pillenarnungen hereingeflattert (Warnungen vor Pillen mit skurrilen und teils gefährlichen Inhaltsstoffen). Kaum ist das Chaos Camp des CCC vorbei (September 2007 war doch grad erst gestern oder?), schon ist es wieder an der Zeit für die Holländer zu Campen.In 1989 a great tradition started with GHP (Galactic Hacker Party), which continued four years later in 1993 with HEU (Hacking at the End of the Universe), HIP (Hacking In Progress) in 1997, HAL (Hacking At large) in 2001 and finally WTH (What The Hack) in 2005. We want to continue this tradition in 2009 with another great outdoor hacker event.
The name is HAR: Hacking At Random 2009.

Aus unerklärlichem Grund fallen mir seit ca. 5 Jahren im Abstand von ungefähr einem Jahr Leute auf den Weg, die irgendwas mit Stevia zu tun haben. Sei es, dass sie es anbauen, oder dass sie Produkte daraus herstellen oder eben einfach direkten Zugang zu jemandem haben, der Produkte daraus anbietet. Seit mir meine Pflanze dereinst mal eingegangen ist, hatte ich mich aber nicht mehr aktiv darum gekümmert.Nunja, es ist mal wieder so weit. Zeit also, sich mal wieder mit dem aktuellen Stand zu dieser Pflanze zu beschäftigen. Ein entsprechender Webshop, der offensichtlich auch noch andere dinge vertreibt, die sonst nur offline zu haben sind dürfte MEDHERBs sein.
